Bob Mehmet began his career at Philadelphia Sign while still in college, accruing valuable hands-on experience in sign manufacture and engineering. After completing his degree in engineering management, he joined the company full time. Bob’s deep industry knowledge coupled with an unflagging drive propelled him towards executive management. His dedication became apparent to Philadelphia Sign customers.

As President and CEO, Bob leads the company, managing day-to-day operations, as well as coordinating large scale branding programs. His active involvement in each project guarantees that no detail is too small and no challenge too large. As an engineer, he brings practical and economical solutions to the table. But, it’s Bob’s can-do, customer-centric attitude that inspires the staff to fulfill the company goal of delivering value and benefits to customers. This has garnered Philadelphia Sign an appreciative and loyal client base.

John Foley, Executive Vice President, has over 25 years’ experience in the sign industry. Leading each project throughout the process, John provides direction from start to completion. Through contracts to project management to production, his role is integral to every aspect of every project.

Working closely with the sales team, project management and production, John’s priority is to provide a cost-effective solution for each Philadelphia Sign customer. John draws on his exceptional command of the complexities of estimating to create the best possible value for each client.

Bret’s significant contribution to the company’s growth is attributable to his 20 years sales & marketing background in the coatings industry. His keen understanding of the sign and graphic design communities has been instrumental in his ability to identify prospects and generate new business.

In addition to managing the sales force, Bret’s strategies for business development have helped to position Philadelphia Sign as the industry leader in sign and branding programs. His fresh perspective has revitalized the company’s sales and marketing endeavors.

Since customer satisfaction is pivotal to realizing company goals, Bret Matthews, Senior Vice President, Business Development, is committed to retaining existing clients by strengthening lasting relationships.

Joe Hoban has been involved in the sign industry throughout his professional career. A 17-year veteran of the company, Joe oversees Philadelphia Sign’s design department, coordinating design projects, developing design concepts and guiding team members through the design process. An accomplished graphic artist, clients have relied on his creative talents for logo development and branding identity.

Joe also serves as IT administrator, managing the client portal, and setting up reporting requirements for customers. Joe stands ready to assist with a customer-friendly attentiveness and industry savvy, making every interaction a positive one for clients.

Effective program management is vital to the success of every sign program. Vice President, Program Management, Jennifer Stoughton has over 10 years of experience navigating the ins and outs of the program management process, and plays an important role in Philadelphia Sign’s corporate operations.

With an emphasis on building rapport, Jen’s collaborative focus results in seamless project coordination. From program assessment through implementation, Jennifer’s steady direction in leading national sign programs guarantees client peace of mind for every project.

Kevin O’Connell pilots the company’s New England Division, located close to Boston, Massachusetts. Vice President, New England Operations with over 15 years in multi-site programs within the real estate industry, Kevin is responsible for sales activities and customer relations in the New England area.

Kevin also manages local projects for large branding programs, overseeing installation, service and maintenance for clients in the New England area. His enthusiastic style motivates his team to excellence in customer service.

Heading up the engineering department, Pat Hoban, Vice President, Engineering lends his first class know-how of structural design, lighting and electrical, plastics, metal fabrication and coatings to the Philadelphia Sign team.

With over 20 years in the business, Pat blends creativity with problem solving, translating customer needs into finished product. Pat works closely with clients to help them realize their vision, while reining in costs through expert value engineering, saving money and time.

During his 38-year tenure at Philadelphia Sign, Vince Cooper, Director, Production Management has honed his expertise in sign production. Few in the industry can match Vince’s mastery of production management.

Vince oversees acquisition of talent, assessing manpower and staffing for each project. In addition, he evaluates and assigns capital resources to meet production goals.

Vince also monitors product standards, implementing quality control programs. Vince is responsible for making sure that each finished product meets Philadelphia Sign’s exacting level of quality, on time and on budget.
